About Hobbycroft Gardens!
Twenty years ago we raised Saanen and La Mancha dairy goats while our kids were growing up. As the children grew up we decided dairy goats took too much time so we decided to turn our yard into a heavenly daylily bed of over a twelve hundred varieties of hybrid daylilies. As we got older and faced various health problems we decided it would be nice to have dairy goats. We decided against having full sized goat in favor of Nigerian Dwarf Goats. We have found them to more sociable than full sized goats and their milk has higher butterfat. We enjoy experimenting with making handmade soaps and cheeses. Our herd’s bloodlines are from Lost Valley, Fairlea Farms, Rosasharn, and Buttonin’ Heads.
